Kiss I i Me Kate, One Count i Work , Well at Belmont * 1 Timed Mile in 1 :42 and 1 :41 %, Respectively; Prince Hill Drills BELMONT PARK, Elmont* L. I., N. Y., May 20. — Oscar White showed a couple of : his aces during the training hours this J morning. Walter M. Jeffords Kiss Me ■ Kate and Mrs. Jeffords One Count worked impressive miles after the fog which had , obscured many of the training moves had lifted. Kiss Me Kate was clocked in 1:42, while One Count stepped along two-fifths faster, but the mares work was at least as good as that of the 1952 Horse of the Year. Kiss Me Kate galloped along in :37%, :50%, 1:16 and seven furlongs in 1:29%. Exercise rider Orlando then reached back and hit the Count Fleet mare and shoved a bit and she responded by stepping the final furlong in :12%. With the same boy in the saddle, One Count went a bit more evenly, stepping the half in :49%, six furlongs in 1:15% and seven furlongs in 1:28%. One Count is pointing for the 0,000 Suburban Handicap on Memorial Day, and will be one of the topweights for this mile and a quarter. Kiss Me Kate is also eligible to this handicap, which has been won by distaff runners twice in the past five years, Harmonica in 1948 and Busanda in 1951, neither of whom had Kiss Me Kates demonstrated class. J. H. "Casey" Hayes breezed Hill Princes ! promising full-brother, Prince Hill, for the i first time this morning, sending the son of ! Princequillo — Hildene, a handy half in i :48%. The C. T. Chenery two-year-old, • who is not scheduled to make his racing debut until the Saratoga meeting in midsummer, accompanied the older Sugar Foot, who went out another furlong in 1 1:01%, which is about as far as he can 1 carry his speed. Chenerys speedy Bryan G. also turned in 1 a good trial this morning, going a handy half in :47%. He is a candidate for Saturdays Metropolitan Mile.
