Preakness on CBS Radio, TV PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 20.— Columbia Broadcasting System will carry the seventy-seventh running of the Preakness Stakes on Saturday on a half -hour show on both television and radio, simultaneously. Announcement from New York today was that Bryan Field, noted race-caster, would handle the description of the race for both radio and TV while the color before and after the running will be described by Red Smith, columnist of the New York Herald-Tribune. The broadcast period will be from 5:30 to 6 pjn. Daylight Time with the Preakness scheduled at about 5:45 pjn. 4:45 p.m. CDT.
