BLUE LAMAR was taken under steadying restraint after having obtained a narrow advantage and, drawing out when ready around the stretch turn, was not in danger thereafter. SLY WINK was never too far away and, although going wide in the stretch, was easily best of the others. ROWDY ROBERT made up ground gradually. SENECA SQUAW was close enough early, but lacked the strength to become a serious contender. BLUE ROGUE closed some ground. EMERY AL had early speed. GRAND B0REALIS was badly outrun. DAD was well up on the outside in the first five furlongs, then moved strongly to catch LADOLEE in the final strides. LADOLEE made a well-timed move to get to the front after entering the stretch, but weakened and was unable to resist the winner. FORGOTTEN MISS threw her head in the air right after the start and dropped out of it, then made up much ground and appeared strongest of all at the end. EASY COIN was used up following PAPA BEAR and had little left. PLAYMAN was close enough early, but failed to threaten. PAPA BEAR tired. SYNDICATE was badly outrun. Scratched-86351 Dark Pigeon, 117. RED ACE kept pace with RADIANT FOX while the latter was leading by a narrow margin in the first quarter, then forged to the front on the outside rounding the stretch turn to pull away with ease in the final eighth. RADIANT FOX saved ground while making the pace, but tired in the last sixteenth and was doing his best to hold POLYCHREST. The latter appeared to attempt to run up on the heels of the leaders on the far turn and was eased momentarily, but went well thereafter. G00FUS was slow to get in stride and raced greenly. BUGLE CORPS was in reserve while following the early pace of KNIGHT-AT-ARMS and passing the latter after leaving the backstretch, drew out but had to be roused coming to the wire to hold SEVENTY-SEVEN. SEVENTY-SEVEN was never too far removed while racing under restraint and, coming strongly in the last furlong, was gaining with every stride. OAK RIVER lacked the speed to keep up, but saved ground in the stretch. KNIGHT-AT-ARMS tired. BOBS ACE also weakened. PLUNGER was badly outrun to the stretch, but finished fairly well.
