MON TORCH, lucky finding room on the rail ar-d rapidly making up ground down the backstretch, was taken to the outside wresting command in the stretch and continued evenly under punishment. TOWNCASTLE closely followed the winner, improving position, remained on the inside and finised gamely. MAH HEAVENS was evenly rated setting the pace and held on well when punished in the drive. TUNESMITH, in hand early, made a good run to reach contention, but tired. EXCISE TAX was outrun. KAYS CHILDREN gave a dull effort. ALBION was done early. WINNING PRINCE raced wide and tired.
