Thirty-Four Final Acceptors for Derby Good Brandy, American-Owned Colt to Seek Coronation Running LONDON, England, May 27 Reuters . — The silks of owner-breeder Robert Sterling Clark will be the only American colors carried in next weeks Epsom Coronation Derby. Clarks colt, Good Brandy, is the only American-owned colt among the 34 final acceptors for the famous classic as announced here today. Queen Elizabeths colt, Aureole, who will probably start as favorite, Nearula, former favorite now under veterinary attention and four French-trained colts are also among those left in. The total value of this years event is 3,308 of which the winning owner will receive 3,330. Last year the Aga Khan received 7,645 for the victory of Tulyar. This was the record for the race but there were 42 final acceptors then. The French horses are Pharel, sole survivor of the many entries of Marcel Bous-sac; Shikampur and Amado Mio, owned by the Aga and Aly Khan, respectively, and Prince Said Toussons Pink Horse.
