Bostonian Tops Todays Program at Ascot Park Mor-Snoozy, Tetratomic Head Nine-Horse Field for Sprint ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, i May 27. — One of the best feature races of | the season will headline the nine -race pro- , gram here tomorrow. Its the Bostonian and has been written under allowance conditions at six and one-half furlongs. The following horses have been named overnight: Mrs. Virginia McKenneys Tetratomic, S. Stengers Rapid Robert, A. W. Messersmiths Scrub, Mrs. M. Pauls Make Haste, Marie Trussos Oh Linda, Mrs. James McCumbers Mor-Snoozey, Lily Ann i Stables Lady Elise, F. M. Ashbys Early Traffic and F. N. Berrys Little Father. Mor-Snoozey, who ran a bang-up second to Bull Skin last Saturday, undoubtedly will go postward as the favorite. In Saturdays race, she was caught in close quarters just after the start, moved up gamely while on the backstretch, gained a head advantage over Bull Skin in late stretch, but then hung in the final strides. Norman Hart, who rode the mare, claimed a foul against the winner, but the stewards disallowed the claim. Harts contention was that he was crowded by the winner just after the start. Tetratomic has raced only once at this meeting, also second to Bull Skin at four and one-half panels. In that race, Tetratomic had some late run and, although never threatening the winner, was much the best of the others. Tetratomic is well suited at six and one-half furlongs and could win the major portion of the purse. Scrub, after two sensational races at this track, appears to have gone way back. In Saturdays feature, Scrub wound up a dismal sixth and never showed any run during the seven furlongs. One factor in favor of the Challador gelding, however, is that his best races are over a fast track, something that has been lacking in his most recent races. Make Haste, trained by Roy Browning, usually can be counted on for a good race and she scored several victories here this spring. Her best race over the track this season came April 24, when at seven fur- longs, she turned back Dotty N., by three lengths while being ridden out. Lady Elise and Early Traffic will be making their initial starts of the meeting. Oh Linda, Rapid Robert and Little Father have been tested here and appear overmatched in the Bostonian.
