Sprint Field of Ten Goes In Beulah Main Offering Victory Play and Go Dutch Vic For Favorites Role Today BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 27. — Six-furlong sprints dominate tomorrows program at Beulah Park, with seven races carded at this distance and one lone race at a mile completes the days line-up. Best sprint of the afternoon has been given the title of the Swan Cleaners Purse and will see 10 sprinters in pursuit of the ,200 purse award. P. Schultz Victory Play, Mrs. O. Cox Go Dutch and Mrs. J. Bronnenbergs Sir Fanar have the best credentials in the dash and they will be opposed by Syllabub, Marcil, Gay Texan, My Bid, Little Shrew, Leo Pair and Torch Sickle. Victory Play and Go Dutch were recent winners over the Beulah track at the same distance, with the former 13-year-old Head Play mare running her three-quarters in an impressive 1:12% over one of the few fast tracks of the meeting. Naturally, the age advantage is on the side of the six-year-old Go Dutch, who skipped through the mud last week for his initial victory of the season. The gelded son of Showerland — Lady LaMarne had four triumphs last season and may be partial to the "off" going, but must be taken seriously in the Swan. Jockey Colin Knisley, who handled him last week, will again ride Go Dutch. Sir Fanar is the enigma of the field, for the Bronnenberg racer has been out but twice this season with both trips fruitless. However, the gelding was a five-time winner last season, which should alert Go Dutch and Victory Play to the prowess of their rival. Jockey D. Leight, who has been riding most of the Bronnenberg racers with some success will again be astride Sir Fanar, while H. Hart has the leg up on Victory Play. All riders are thoroughly familiar with their mounts and a hot contest should ensue.
