Madden Reports to Battle - DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich.. May 27.— Jockey Darrell Madden, a top journeyman race rider, checked in from Churchill Downs and reported to trainer H. H. "Pete" Battle, who conditions the Mrs. E. E. Dale Shaffer thoroughbreds. Maddens engagement book will be handled by Paul Clelland during the Wolverine State season.
