DELEGATE, away alert y, was reserved back of the early pace, came to the complete outside to take command when ready inside the stretch and drew clear under a steady hand ride. BLINKER LIGHT was sent into closer contention at the furlong marker but was unable to seriously endanger the winner when the real test .came .ALL IS WELL showed 90°d speed from the start, but faltered when set down for the drive. THYMUS lacked the necessary rally SUNNY FOX was through after a balf mile. FIFE AND DRUM never threatened. STAR HOOFER was not unduly persevered with when hopelessly beaten. LAFOURCHE, far back early, as usual, responded gamely when guided to the middle of the track Tor the stretch run and was up in the concluding stride to prevail over ARMAGEDDON. The latter made the pace to the furlong marker while racing on his own courage, tired slightly during the late stages, but should improve with additional racing. NO SCORE closed with good energy and was getting to the leaders. BLENOMAR tired when punished. REQUISITION was unable to keep up. PLIANT was through early. NATIVE DANCER, a sharp factor from the start while in the clear, came to the outside to reach near even terms with JAMIE K. when straightened for the stretch run, forged to the front at the furlong marker and though displaying a slight tendency to shorten stride once in command, gamely withstood the latter. JAMIE K. raced closest to the early pacemaker during the run down the backstretch, went to the front on the final turn, gave way to the winner entering the stretch, then held on tenaciously easily besting the others. ROYAL BAY GEM, slow to gam best stride moved up readily when shaken for the drive, but under stern pressure was no match for the top ones. RAM 0 WAR much used early, had little left. THE PREEM never was formidable. KAMEHAMEHA displayed brief speed and was unable to be persevered with during the late stages when his saddle slipped after he was hopelessly beaten.
