; First Issue of Randall Condition Book Off Press RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, June 13. — Randall Parks 1953 edition of the condition books covering the first half of the 44-day meeting, which opens on July 18 and closes on Labor Day, September 7, are off the presses. Distribution of the books has already started and while racing secretary J. Gilbert Haus is occupied with his duties at Delaware Park, general manager Elmer F. Vickers is distributing the books through the mails. The book, which appears to be the classiest Haus has written in his four-year regime at Randall, includes the complete stakes list, with two new major additions, the ,000 added Ohio Futurity and the ,000 added Chagrin Valley Turf Handicap. The book includes four overnight turf races, the first ever offered in Ohio. Minimum purses are ,500 for races under a mile and $.1600 for races over a mile.
