Billeaud Escapes Serious Injury in Fairmount Fall FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 13.— Jockey C. Billeaud, who substituted for Palmer Domenico on the horse Song of Italy in the final race Friday night, narrowly escaped serious injury when he was unseated entering the stretch and several horses ran over him. Domenico was injured slightly at the starting gate in an earlier race when his mount, Gracile, reared and was ordered scratched by the track veterinarian. Billeaud was taken to St. Marys Hospital, East St. Louis, HI., for a thorough examination and it was reported he will be released from there today.
