Appoint Pons State Steward For Charles Town Meeting WATERFORD PARK, Chester, W. Va., June 13. — John V. Pons, presently serving as a member of the official family here and who serves as state steward at the Sunshine Park meeting during the winter, has been notified of his appointment as steward to represent the West Virginia Racing Commission at the Charles Town meeting commencing on June 26th. Pons will depart from here to. be on hand there several day* prior to the opening.
