LUSTY, racing in improved form, took command early, set the pace to the stretsh under steady rating, responded to punishment during the drive and lasted to withstand EMERALD BELLE. The latter, in hand to the stretch, finished strongly, but could not overtake the winner. KINGS TIP held on well in a sharp effort and had no mishap. TREADA BOY lacked early speed. SLAMARANTH tired after showing early speed. MIO LIPS began slowly. HALS CHICK was never dangerous. BLESSETTE was through after three-quarters mile. NOBLE IDEA tired. PRAIRIE KID raced evenly to the stretch closed strongly when hard urged during the drive and, after disposing of TOP PRETTY, held EVEN STEP safe The latter, gradually worked way forward, was kept to the outside for the stretch run and, finishing fast under punishment, was unable to overtake the winner. TOP PRETTY, a keen factor from the beginning, established a clear lead When settled in the stretch but faltered near the finish. ROMAN SQUIRE closed resolutely under punishment. ASCENT lacked early foot. BILLIES ANN tired during the stretch run. FLINT NIGHT raced prominently to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive. LETS THINK showed nothing. CARROL HART was far back throughout. HEART GREETS took command at once, set 4he pace for a half mile under pressure from TOP PRETTY, then gave way. The latter moved up strongly approaching the stretch, was unabl to stay with FOXY ADELINE but easily bested the others. BROAD CROSS drifted out at the stretch turn and faltered during the drive. O ELAINE RUTH went wide at the stretch turn but closed well after straightening up for the drive. SWEET PATOOTIE raced forwardly placed to the stretch, then faltered. BIDDY BID was outrun. B MINOR, never far back and smartly handled, raced LILAC into defeat after entering the stretch, then continued willingly to withstand SLIP 0 NED safe. The latter, far back to the last three-eighths mile, saved ground during the stretch run, but could not reach the winner. LA MOTHE lacked early speed, but closed strongly under punishment STEAMBOAT BILL, steadied to the stretch, could not better his position when set down in the drive. LILAC, forwardly placed early, went to the front near the stretch, but failed -to stay when set down for the drive. TRAMORE BAY was outrun. HI BOB tired, GRAND EVENING showed nothing. LADY ROWENA tired after racing well to the stretch. NIGHT AGAIN set the pace for three-eighths mile, then drifted out badly and lost all chance.
