Geryais, Stevens Deadlocked RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 13. — Forty-four trainers sent out at least one winner in the first week of racing at River Downs with H. J. Gervais and T. H. .Stevens deadlocked on top of the pile with three wins apiece. Pete Maxwell, whose 21 victories topped the Ascot Park conditioners, showed that he holds a strong hand in the local battle by sending out two winners last week.
