Braves Sign Young Hurler MILWAUKEE, Wis., June 25 UP .—The Milwaukee Braves had a new pitcher on their roster today in 17-year-old Joe Jay of Rock Fall, Conn., who was signed as a bonus player. The tall youth pitched three no-hitters for Woodrow Wilson high school at Middletown, Conn., this* ear and he won five games and lost one. The sixrfoot, four-inch, 212-pound righthander also was a good batter in high school, hitting around the .400 mark.
