Ohio Notes CRANWOOD PARK, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, June 25.— R. Powell got in from Waterford Park with Paper Cup, Ocoya, Deep Red and Tiffin. The last named was a winner at Wheeling. At . the conclusion of the Cumberland meeting on Wednesday, some 40 or 50 thoroughbreds are expected to be shipped in here from the Maryland circuit. J. Fred Colwill is due back from Cumberland, where he has been serving as racing secretary at that 10-day meeting, to resume his post as placing judge at Cranwood Park. Also expected in from Cumberland is John Red with 10 runners adn Elsie Morris with six head. The Cleveland News Jockey award that customarily goes to the leading rider at Cranwood at the close of the meeting will be a matching set of traveling clock and barometer. Both are appropriately set in silver stirrups Willie Pool and Stanley Austin, who have won the award in previous years, are active here, but Plesa seems to have the award clinched, since he has 17 winners more than his closest rival.
