Quits Panthers for Steelers PITTSBURGH-, Pa., June 25 UP.— Edgar "Special Delivery" Jones resigned as assistant football coach of the University of Pittsburgh today to accept a post with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former Pitt star who went on to professional play with the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns signed a one-year contract as backfield coach of the Steelers. He succeeds Keith Molesworth who resigned to become head coach of the Baltimore Colts.
