Native Dancer Breezes Five Furlongs in 1 :002/s BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 25.— Alfred G. Vanderbilts Native Dancer was on the main track here this morning for a brisk five-furlong spin. The gray champion three-year-old was eased slightly the last eighth of the trial, which he accomplished in l:00%, breezing along without urging. Native Dancers next engagement is the. 0,000 Dwyer Stakes at Aqueduct on July 4 at a mile and a quarter and, thus far, no one has been able to suggest a solid rival for the son of Polynesian in that event. Trainer Bill Winfrey_ worked two possible rivals for Greehtree Stables Tom Fool in Saturdays Carter Handicap this morning. They are Vanderbilts First Glance and Indian Land, who worked five furlongs together with the first-named only slightly the better. They were clocked in 1:00% and 1:01, respectively. Both speedsters come from good races at Aqueduct.
