Recommends Everett Be Reinstated at Las Vegas Master of Federal Court Also Suggests a Revision in Title LAS VEGAS, NeV.; June 25. — H. W. Edwards, master of the Federal Court Bankruptcy proceedings in the affairs of the Las Vegas Jockey Club, announced yesterday that he will recommend to the federal court that "Webb Everetts contract be reinstated with a revision in title. After hearing testimony from many witnesses, Edwards stated he will recommend that Everett be reinstated as vice-president and assistant to the president with Alfred Luke as general manager. Edwards recommendation now goes to federal judge Roger Foley of the Federal Court. Fifteen directors of the Las Vegas Jockey Club, representing the majority of the stockholders, were present at the hearing. They all recommend that Everett be reinstated. Everett took the stand and outlined his plan of racing for the Las Vegas Jockey Club, which calls for 8,000 in purses and stakes daily for the program which is slated to start Sept. 4 and run for 67 days. Racing will" be staged Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday throughout the initial meeting. „ Lou Smith of Rockingham Park is president of the new Las Vegas Jockey Club group. Two weeks ago, Everetts contract was. set aside by order of judge Foley on the objections of a representative of the minority stockholders. This objection has been withdrawn. Everett was Santa Anitas racing secretary from its start until his resignation recently to take the Nevada post. Everetts comment after the hearing was: "The decks are all clear now for us to go ahead withour meeting." *
