SMART EVE, outrun to the last three-eighths mile, was sent to the middle of the track for the stretch run and, responding to strong handling, disposed of the leaders, to win going away. SIR TINT, on the outside throughout, finished resolutely but was not good enough for the winner. DONQUEST gave a good effort and had no excuse. JUNGLE FEAST took an early lead, set the pace until inside the stretch, then faltered. BROWNSTOWN began fast but could not keep up after the start. RED RIVER was outrun. ALPHAS CHOICE was never prominent in a dull effort. STORMY KAY engaged JUNGLE FEAST for a half mile, then gave way. WILD HEIRESS raced wide. FREE AND EQUAL went to the front early, set the pace until inside the stretch but could not hold the top one, although easily best of the others. WILL YOU DANCE saved ground throughout in a good effort JOLISAM had no excuse. RAYS PRIDE raced wide from the. start losing all chance. BOLTON tired after racing forwardly placed to the last guarter mile. LILAC ; was outrun. OMABERRY was never dangerous. GLORAT could not keep up.
