Buckeye Closes on Tuesday RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, Aug. 22. Horsemen are reminded that the 0,000 added Buckeye Handicap for three-year-plds and upward at one mile and one furlong closes on Tuesday. This race is annually the high point of the Ohio racing season and it carries the largest purse ever offered in this state. The Buckeye will be run on Saturday, Sept. 5.
