Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. HILL STREET took command at once, set the pace to the stretch under steady rating and retained a clear advantage to the finish, winning with speed in reserve. VESSAIRESS, never far back, closed willingly but could hot seriously threaten the top one. MIST-O-BLUE bore to the inside when. set down through the stretch, caused a jam, then could not reach the leaders. MIST-O-BLUE was disqualified for the stretch fouling and placed last. STORM BIRD lacked early speed but finished fairly well under urging. CARDINAL LADY was outrun. MR. NEALIE was never dangerous. PREACHER was through early. LINA II. was moving up steadily forty yards from the finish when caught in the jam caused by M4ST-0-BLUE, struck a horses heels and fell. FEROL S., a keen factor from the start, overcame mild interference at the. first turn, disposed of KALLUKI during the stretch rim, then held OTTER BROOK safe. The latter raced evenly to the stretch, closed gamely, but could not get to the winner. KALLUKI went to the front early, set the pace until inside the stretch while engaging FEROL S., then faltered. RIDGE RUNNER gave a fair effort and had no mishap. POLTROON, roughed at the initial turn, failed to rally when set down through the stretch. LEAVEMEALONE Was outrun. SAVED AGAIN, forced to take up sharply when crowded at the first turn, failed to recover. AMYLAMINE showed nothing. Overweight Amylamine, 2 pounds. Otter Brook claimed by M. H. VanBerg. HAPPY GANDER, a keen factor from the start, disposed of JACKIE VAN before entering the stretch, then responded readily when set down in the drive and held VIXEN FIXIT safe. The latter saved ground from the start, raced to HAPPY GANDER during the stretch run, then hung and just missed. IS THERE, forced back after the start, made up ground steadily when clear, but could not get to the top pair. JACKIE VAN began fast, set the pace for three-eighths mile, then weakened. Won driving; second and third the same. SUB FACTOR went to the front early, raced LAUREL SPRINGS into defeat before entering the stretch,, then continued gamely, to withstand CIMMERONA. The latter stumbled immediately after the break, was rushed to reach serious contention and, after suffering mild interference at the first turn, raced well, but could not reach the top one, although easily best of the others. LIMIT GREENIE lacked early speed, but finished fast HANGOVER was unable to better his position when set down through the stretch. LAUREL SPRINGS engaged SUB FACTOR for a half mile, then gave way. MIKEABY, away sluggishly, steadily worked way forward, made a mild bid in the early stretch but faltered when near the finish. RADICAL bumped with BY JUPITER after the break, lacked early foot but made up some ground during the last quarter mile. CHIC WAVE raced wide. PUR SANG was through early. SULMARI went to the front early; was much used engaging FIGHTING CLOUD to the stretch, then held on gamely brisk urging, but could not withstand CLEAN BROOM. FIGHTING CLOUD raced prominently the entire trip and had no excuse. DEALER lacked early -speed, but finished fast. STEPENMATE was outrun. NET PROFIT was far back throughout.
