BENJOMIKE, never far off the pace, made his move entering the stretch, engaged for command inside the final furlong and was drawing out under pressure. DEEP DOWN, in hand until the final guarter mile, came outside to engage the leaders and was pressing to the end. WENTWORTH, forced to take command under stout restraint, was roused after seven furlongs, opened a commanding lead and faltered inside the final furlong. CLICK was forced to lose ground on the first turn, and rallied mildly in the late stages. JUDYS RUNNER lacked a. rally when roused. PROHIBIT was outrun. WARDRIL showed nothing. MONEY DOWN, reserved within striking distance of the leaders, moved along the inside to engage for command, was drawing out and had to be hard ridden to stave off INSOMNIA. The latter closed stoutly through the stretch and just missed. AMITY, steadied while forcing the pace, moved into command entering the stretch, drew clear and faltered. JANTEMBER came through along the inside, but was unable to menace. RED CAP, taken back off the pace and steadied to the final quarter mile, passed tirijjg horses with a late rally. BILLS SUN quit NEWTON HIGH showed nothing. FIRST ONE was unable to keep up. Overweight Jantamber, 3 pounds. Money Down claimed by Mrs. J. D. Canzano. Insomnia claimed by Mrs. M. L.
