SEA 0 ERIN was off forwardly placed and was never too far from the pace of PURSUANCE, then moved on the outside of the latter to head him at midstretch and increase his margin slowly for the remainder of the distance. The latter flashed to the front at the start and saved ground while being well ridden, but resisted stubbornly when challenged in an excellent effort; HASTY ROAD, breaking from an outer post position, was required to race wide all the way to remain in the clear and showed a winning effort. TU0SIX, although also rather wide, gained a good position early and also turned in a fine effort. EL DRAG had early foot and loomed as a possible contender an eighth out, but faltered in the final run. JUDGE BROWDEE weakened in the stretch. MR. PROSECUTOR was close enough early, but failed to threaten for the leadership. HOMESTAKE vas in close quarters when he broke from inside position and was outrun and the race it not an indication of his true ability. Scratched 98289 Pharamar, 1.12. The latter was outrun early but was not hard urged and finishing with good courage was pressing the winner. CHICLE II., avoiding trouble, tok a clear lead in the stretch but was not good enough.
