4 Honor Royal Vale For Massachusetts Last Years Winner of Race Assigned 126 Pounds, Five Above Find, in Rich Stake SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 12. Mrs. J. R. H. Thourons Royal Vale, winner of the 1953 edition of the traditional 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap, has been assigned the top impost for this years running of the mile and a quarter event. The 126 pounds which the English -bred son of Kingsway Cora Deans must carry in next "Wednesdays race at Suffolk Downs is five more than that which has "been assigned to Alfred G. Van-derbilts Find. Greentree Stables Straight Face, who recently returned to top form with a victory in last Saturdays Dixie at Pimlico, is next on racing secretary Gordon Morrows list published here today. The bay son of Count Fleet Expression is rated at 118 pounds, two more than given to Brook-meade Stables Capeador, who was third in the Dixie, beaten a little more than two and a half lengths. In the Maryland event, Straight Face carried 115 pounds as against 116 for the Brookmeade gelding. Also at 116 pounds is Saxon Stables Marcador. Trio Grouped at 115 C. V. Whitneys Cold Command, Saxon Stables Invigorator and Hasty House Farms Mister Black are grouped at 115 pounds. Cold Command has a stablemate eligible to the Mass., in Fly Wheel who is rated at 111 pounds. Royal Vale has an able companion eligible for the big race of the Massachusetts season in Rokeby Stables Magic Lamp. The Alibhai Milcave colt attained prominence with a triumph in the Jamaica Handicap, but could do no better than finish fourth, well beaten in the Dixie. Magic Lamp has been assigned 112 pounds. Thirty-two of the top handicap horses in the east have been assigned weights for next Wednesdays race and with the exception of T. P.
