GALIKIST raced evenly and in hand to the stretchy was sent to the middle of the track for the drive and, closing strongly under punishment, wore down the leaders in the final furlong. VIGOR went to the front early, set the pace until inside the stretch, but could not withstand the top one. BOBBY-BOO, never far back, held on well in a good effort. JUST BARBARA, away alertly, dropped back after the start, was caught in close quarters approaching the stretch and faltered after making a mild bid. THEMIS was outrun. MISS MIG had a rough trip. BOILING SPRING gave way after racing well to the final furlong. SUPER BEE raced wide. IN A MIST was never -prominent. MR. DUBUQUE showed nothing. Scratched Sunny Bull, 108; 16366 Trip North, 106. CELTIC SPIRIT, well handled, moved up between horses entering the stretch and, closing fast under punishment, disposed of CARACAS KID in the last sixteenth. CARACAS KID, a forward factor from the start, settled in the stretch with a short lead but was unable to hold the winner. SIR CHEERS, in hand until reaching the last quarter mile, finished extremely fast under punishment. JOYCE ANN B. raced BLACK CADET into defeat before going a half mile, held on well to the final furlong, then faltered. MISS MIDNIGHT lacked early speed and lost ground while racing on the outside through the stretch. THE SINNER was outrun. ELS FOLLY tired after showing early foot. E Z EYE raced wide.
