Grover Bs Leg Not Fractured; Nice Work Has Split Pastern BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 12. Additional X-rays of T. P. Morgans Grover B., who appeared to have seriously injured his right front leg in a spill on the grass course Monday, fail to reveal any fracture and the gelded winner of this years New Orleans Handicap does not appear to be in any pain. It is hoped that he will recover sufficiently to be sent to Morgans farm for retirement. I It was reported this morning that Nice Work, who fell in Saturdays International Steeplechase, suffered a split pastern. The Irish horse, who races for Mrs. G. L. Ver- ney, is recuperating at the F. A: Clark I estate at Westbury, L. I.
