Film on Florida Derby Day HALLANDALE, Fla., May 12. A 15-minute color film, covering activities of Gulfstream Park on Florida Derby .Day, is now being prepared for showing before civic clubs, fraternal groups and other organizations throughout the State of Florida. The film shows the fascinating pageantry of Derby Day with its Parade of States, marching band units, launching of the Suwanee Queen, Gulf streams replica of an old river boat, and other innovations which made the 1954 Florida Derby a long-to-be-remembered event. The color film is to be completed shortly, with a musical background and dialogue.
