Ship Wack Horses From Coast To Belmont for Auction Sale HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 14. The Yolo Stable racing string of Mr. and Mrs. de Blois John Wack of Santa Barbara quartered at .Hollywood Park was shipped today to New York to be sold at public auction on June 10 at Belmont Park. Wack, though he will remain in the thoroughbred breeding business both in California and in Kentucky, will temporarily retire from active racing except for a few horses owned in partnership with friends, according to one of his trainers, Freddy Houghton. He will keep some of his broodmares at his Hope Ranch place near Santa Barbara, and the remainder of them in Kentucky, where he stands .the stallion, Great Circle, former winner of the Sunset Handicap at Hollywood, and the Santa Anita Maturity. The horses shipped to the Belmont Sale were: Aria Viva, Deep River, . Marso, Cronus, Interval, Michikee, Tremere, Cobia, Grandpaw, Rico Hombre, and Misdemeanor. These were being trained here by Freddy Houghton and Warren Stute.
