Jet Action and Artismo Seen in Belmont Trials BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 14v Maine Chance Farms Jet Action, the Withers winner who looms one of the favorites for the Preakness, did nothing to detract from his standing when he stepped a handy mile and a furlong in 1:53 this morning. The handsome son of Jet Pilot from the mighty Busher was very impressive as he spun the fractions in :49, 1:14 and the mile in 1:40, getting the final eighth in :13. James Cox Bradys Artismo, who is reported to have disliked the sloppy footing in the Withers, went a good mile in 1:41 this morning, galloping out another eighth in 1:55. The colt was only asked for speed in the last five furlongs, when he was joined by To Arms. Artismos fractions were :52, 1:11, 1:27.- The son of Goya il., is a Preakness eligible and may also be seen in the Peter Pan Handicap, June 5, though. his major objective is the Belmont Stakes at a mile and half on June 12.
