Wm. Gregg, Veteran Turfman, Dies of Heart Attack DETROIT, Mich., May 14. William Gregg, who has been associated with racing as a jockey and groom for the past 40 years, died of a heart attack at his home here yesterday. Gregg, who was 60, had just arrived from Florida and was awaiting the opening of the Michigan season at the Michigan Racing Association course next Friday when he was stricken. The remains are at the McGinnes Funeral Home on Woodward Ave. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, with, requiem high mass at Visitation Catholic Church at 11 oclock, with interment in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
