Swedish Ace Withdraws STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 14. U.P. Swedens star miler Sune Karlsson notified the Swedish Track and Field Federation today that due to family reasons he is unable to accept the invitation to take part in the Compton, Calif., mile race, June 4. Federation officials said they will immediately inform the sponsors of the track meet at Compton that Karlsson is unable to make the trip.
