Expanded Double Facilities At Delaware Park This Year STANTON, Del., May 14. Daily Double devotees attending Delaware Park this season will find vastly improved and expanded facilities. Not only will there be many more Double windows, but for the first time at the Stanton track 21 of them will be available on the grandstand mezzanine, nearer to where patrons sit. Thus, congestion will be greatly reduced throughout the areas embracing mutuels facilities by expansion of this service and creation of more spaciousness, or walking and elbow room. While 53 Daily Double selling windows were in operation at the 1953 meeting, the total for this season has been increased to 70 an all-time high. The 21 machines that will be in operation at their new locale on the grandstand mezzanine are mainly for tickets. "Ever since the Daily Double form of wagering returned to Delaware Park," said Vice President and General Manager Bryan Field, "it has been the aim to better serve our Daily Double-minded patrons.
