GEORGE COLLINS moved into cammond as the leader tired, drew out under pressure and continued on gamely. ELFISH rallied too late to menace the top pair. MILAN BOY, a forward factor, was unable to make up appreciable ground at the end. IRVINGTON weakened after a mild challenge on the final turn. SAFE AT HOME dropped off the early pace, was roused entering the stretch and passed tiring horses. MONTANA SANDS showed nothing. COOKIE K. quit. The others were outrun.
