FLORSON lacked early foot, but finished willingly. BLUE LEM lacked racing room during the final furlong. INAHMOUD went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. LITTLE JED had early speed and, caught in tight quarters entering the stretch, tired. STAR BLAZE failed to stay. CLASSY REBEL was never dangerous. BUSY BETTY had early foot. TOP FAIR raced evenly to the stretch, moved up boldly thereafter and, taking command, was ridden out to increase her advantage. AGNES LYNN, never far back, closed determinedly, but was unable to reach the top one. BIDDY SUE took an early lead, set the pace to the final furlong, then faltered when challenged by TOP FAIR. PYTHFIELD tired after engaging BIDDY SUE for three-eighths mile. FREEDOM LANE, on the outside to the stretch, was blocked while trying to move between horses during the drive. MYOMIKE was outrun. LUCKEY PETE went to the front early, engaged BROWNIE LADY to the final furlong, but could not withstand the winner. MAHPLAY raced evenly in a good effort and had no mishap. BROWNIE LADY, much used engaging LUCKEY PETE until inside the stretch, tired. COLONEL ZEDER lacked early speed. AIR MAIL was never a serious threat and pulled up sore. MISS LAKEVIEW showed nothing. TIDY SUM, steadily working his way forward, was sent to the outside for the drive and finished fast, but was not good enough for the winner. BIGTIME GAL lacked early speed,, but closed strongly in the middle of the rtack. HALRACK displayed a good effort while racing in close quarters. DEEP SITUATION vied for the lead for a half mile, but faltered during the drive. STAR K. tired during the stretch run. NOME raced on the outside all the way, but could not reach serious contention. DADDYS DOG saved ground while racing forwardly placed to the upper turn, assumed command approaching the stretch and, remaining next to the inner rail for the drive, held on gamely to withstand SURE TRY. The latter, outrun to the upper turn, moved up steadily thereafter, finished fast on the extreme outside, but could not overtake the winner, although much the best of the others. SECO GIRL, away poorly, moved up gradually to the stretch, but could not better her position when set down in the drive. COUNTESS DRUM raced well for three-quarters mile, then weakened. WINNOWETTE, blocked leaving the backstretch, failed to recover. RAMBLING KATIE tired. JETTS KISS had early speed, but failed to stay. Overweight Winnowette, 3 pounds; E Z Eye, 2.
