BASES LOADED was no match for the winner while rallying. SIR CHATTER lacked sufficient late response. PATOIS made up ground too late. NOBLE SUN set the pace to the stretch and quit. SAILOR LAD gave way badly. CHAR BOOTS was shuffled back nearing the stretch. ELI COOKIE showed nothing. PROMPTNESS stopped to a walk.
