DON BUSTER, a keen factor from the start, settled in the stretch with a clear lead after disposing of PEGGY D., but could not hold the top one. NOWADAY GIRL, in close quarters entering the stretch, finished well when clear. LANDMARK BELLE began sluggishly and raced wide at the stretch turn. SKY. SONG had no excuse. TINY HARP, a keen factor from the start, went to the front before going a half mile, settled in the stretch with a good lead but was hard ridden to withstand SOOCRU. The latter, in close quarters entering the stretch, finished strongly when clear but was unable to reach the winner. ROYAL TULIP raced evenly for three-quarters mile, then closed fairly well under punishment. PRANDIUM gave a good effort and had no mishap. GRACIOUS HEART, forced back when caught in tight quarters after the start, raced wide thereafter. SHIFTY CLOWN had a rough trip. SIR TINT swerved to the inside after the break, crowding the field, raced with TINY HARP to the stretch, then gave way. PROPS-could not keep up. TRIOGRAPH had early speed but failed to stay. KY.
