KTBA Holds Annual Dinner jn Louisville Trophy Presented for Victory Of Farm to Market at Downs CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky„ May 13. — Approximately 80 Kentucky Thorougbred Breeders Association members and invited guests gathered in the Louis XTV. room at the Brown Hotel last night for the fifth annual dinner purse award. This years dinner purse race was won by Roger Wilsons Farm to Market here yesterday afternoon with the To Market colt proving an easy winner in the 4I/2 furlongs dash fashioned for maiden two-year-olds the property of or leased by association members. Wilson was unable to attend last nights festivities due to press of business in his native Louisiana but was represented by trainer J. H. "Slim" Pearce who accepted a handsome silver trophy from secretary John Nahm in his behalf. President Pat Calhoun presided and accepted a motion by Wathen Knebelkamp, Churchill Downs new president, that the four vacancies existing on the breeders board of directors be filled by Baylor Hickman, Roscoe Goose, Gen. J. Fred Miles and William Veeneman. The motion passed unanimously and the quartet brought the board to its full 12-man strength. Following the completion of business all settled back and through the courtesy of Churchill Downs were able to view the film patrol pictures of the Dinner Purse, plus the 85th running, of the Kentucky Derby.
