Teamie, Colclasure Up, Scores Second Straight Free Play Rallies to Triumph In Sprint at Cahokia Downs By J. J. HAHN Staff Correspondent CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, HI., May 13. — Performing in a manner expected by a majority of the 4,022 patrons in attendance, Henry Buntings hard-knocking Teamie, ridden by Jake Colclasure, scored her second straight victory here Tuesday night when she scored a clever victory in the Millstadt Purse, a 6V2 furlongs dash that headed the Illinois Legislators Night at this 6 furlongs course. The five-year-old daughter of ValdinaJ Lamar defeated Carroll P. Polands Oscars , Pocket, George J. Schatz Pennys First and j four others. Following in "the wake of the j top three were Marion Love, Stella Girl, Proud Fella and Hudson Flash. Reveling over the heavy course, the Bunting representative was outpaced by Oscars Pocket, but, as they reached the far turn, the early leader went out slightly and Colclasure quickly sent his charge through the narrow opening and, after taking a half-length lead, was taken in hand to draw away at will as Oscars Pocket made several runs at the ultimate winner. At the end of the spin, Teamie was two lengths before the faltering Poland representative, who easily saved the place by the same distance from Pennys First, who bested Marion Love by a length for the minor award.
