Mrs. Katie I. Weil, Owner, Dies of Stroke at Age 82 , Mrs. Katie I. Weil, 82, owner whose horses currently are racing at Churchill Downs, died here Tuesday at Columbus Hospital. Mrs. Weil, whose husband, Ike, has raced horses for over 60 years, suffered a stroke six weeks ago but had recovered and was planning to return to her home when she suffered a second stroke Monday. The Weils recently observed their sixty-second wedding anniversary. Mrs. Weil raced Andy B. W., crack ! sprinter of a few years ago, and that stallions son, Andrew B. W.,~was beaten aj nose Monday at Churchill Downs in her . colors. j Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Henriette Block; a brother, Leo Aarons; sister, Mrs. Minnie Herman; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday morning at 10 oclock in the chapel at 2100 E. 75th St., with burial in Free Sons Cemetery.
