Alidon May Not Start Until July 4 HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 31. Since he was not nominated for the 00,000-added Calif ornian June 11 and it appears unlikely that, he will be made a supplementary nomination, L. B. Mayers Alidon, winner of the Argonaut Handicap Saturday, probably will make his next start in the 0,000-added American Handicap July 4, trainer Bill Molter said this morning. Molter indicated the four-year-old gelding probably would go better in the longer Hollywood Gold Cup or the Sunset Handicap, both 00,000 events, than in the mile and a sixteenth Californian.
