Leon Korper, Ex-Pricemaker At Coast Tracks, Succumbs LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 30. Leon "Moddy" Korper, long a pricemaker on thoroughbred race tracks, passed away Wednesday at Mt. Zion Hospital, San Francisco, after a long illness. He was 77. For several years up to the time of his retirement he was pricemaker at tracks operated by the late William P. Kyne and visited Bay Meadows during the recently concluded meeting at that track. The deceased is survived y a sister, Mrs. Hattie Rosenberg. Funeral services will be held in San Francisco on Friday.
