Gen. Curtis E. LeMay Visits Ak-Sar-Ben far Holiday Card AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., May 30. A distinguished visitor here today for the Memorial Day racing program was the five-star general, Curtis E. LeMay, commanding general of the Strategic Air Command, whose world headquarters are here in Omaha at Offutt Field. General LeMay, who has built this air arm into the worlds most powerful striking force, will leave on July 1 to become Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Corps.
