Sanchez Critically Injured In Hollywood Park Mishap HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglcwood, Calif., May 30. Eddie Sanchez, youthful exercise boy for trainer Meshach Tenny and the Rex .Ellsworth stable, was reported in critical condition at Ccntinela Hospital today following: a fall while working; the horse Classy Lou at Hollywood Park. Dr. Theodore Haller said preliminary reports disclosed Sanchez suffered four broken vertebrae, five broken ribs and a collapsed lung:. In addition, Haller said, the youngster may have a fractured kidney and a fractured spleen. He added that surgery was probable. Sanchez had just -finished working the Ellsworth stables Classy Lou three-eighths of a mile in :35rS when the filly suddenly ducked into the rail just past the finish line. Sanchez reportedly was flipped onto the rail and rolled into the infield.
