Prize Host is to carry 122 pounds, the same as he had up in the Oakland, with Furyvan shouldering 121. No credit can be taken from Furyvan for he gave an excellent account of himself. He made up a half-dozen lengths to gain his triumph, but Prize Host also turned in a particularly game effort, repelling challenges from Yard Bird. Circle Lea and Brief Interlude before giving way to the ultimate winner. •
