Worden stable, who underwent ar operation for appendicitis Saturday, is reported to be doing well at the Columbus Hospital where he is confined. During Whitleys absence the riding engagements J of jockey "Buddy" Haas will be made by C 9 L. Lowenstein, who is also booking tht mounts of H. Callahan. Timberline and Blue Train, which were sept to the post by trainer A. Pelleteri, were -led to different stables after filling their engagements Tuesday, when Mrs. J. M. Irwin took the former out of the first race foi ,000, while Blue Train went to Mrs! L. J. Remm for ,000. Failing to stand the strenuous -energy required to attain his best condition, Wise Eddie, in the stable of Mrs. E. Oros, will be shipped to the farm of Frank Meisinger at Naperville, 111., and will be turned out foi the remainder of the summer. Jockey Joey Renick is eligible to accept mounts for Wednesday, having served the fifteen days suspension meted out by the stewards at Aurora, for his rough riding in the recent Illinois Derby, while astride Dnieper. Trainer J. J. Greely, who is handling the horses of the Shandon Farm Stable, reports that Bright Light has been shipped to the Nash Brothers farm near Lexington. Being afflicted with an ailment of the knees he will occasion a firing operation, so Bright Light will be absent from competition for an indefinite period. Trainer Staton, who leased the filly Idle Way to Mrs. J. K. Ross, has taken her over again, and in addition will condition the two-year-old Wiloee, which he purchased recently at private terms. Staton was granted a trainers license and filed his registration for the two horses. Apprentice R. R. Simpson, who figured in two spills last week, has fully recovered from the bruises he sustained and resumed riding Tuesday.
