GEORGE W. COFFEY DIES KANSAS, CITY, Mo., June 8 A pall was cast over the crowd at Riverside Park this afternoon when word was received that George W. Coffey, well-known Kansas City sportsman and horse owner, dropped dead at his home as he was preparing to leave for the track. Mr. Coffey was part owner of the good filly, Reelbn, and the consistent Heart Break. Coffey was at the track this morning and had not complained of feeling ill. Moving Clouds and Julia Irene, both in which Mr. Coffey was part owner, were scratched on todays program.
