SCYTHE, away fast but shuffled back soon afterwards, was forced wide at the stretch turn, responded fast in the drive and finished well. TREASURY KEY, under good urging throughout, held on well. ANA X.. well up from the start, swung wide entering the stretch and held on under pressure. EREBUS, slow to begin, was outrun for a half mile, was forced wide entering the stretch, but came fast when straightened. DOROTHY HICKS tired. BRINY DEEP saved ground throughout. IDLE FLIRT, hustled into the lead, drew clear after three-eighths, tired nearing the final eighth, gave way to the winner, but came again near the end. NAWAB, never far back and under good urging, held on gamely. DELGADO, outrun for five-eighths, made up ground in the drive. BLIND HILLS showed a god effort. MAZOL had no mishaps. GANNONNIC failed to keep up. ALL BAYS began from outside of the stalls and made up ground after being unprepared at the start. CHILLA LEE quit and was pulled up before the finish.
