1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES I hB The Long Run Stables Marynell, a candidate for the renewal of the ,000 added Enquirer Handicap, Saturdays feature at Latonia, is due to arrive from Detroit, Wednesday morning, according to word received by track superintendent Charles M. Nolte. M. Griner was an arrival from Churchill Downs with the trio of thoroughbreds he is handling for J. D. Weil. The horses are Double B., Whataquestion and Gypsy Princess and have only recently been put back in training. Apprentice T. Dickinson accepted his first mount of the current meeting at the Milldale course when he rode Batman in the opening race Tuesday. Harry Saladin, who has a division of the D. B. Midkiff thoroughbreds under his supervision, received word that Tearout will be shipped from Hawthorne to Latonia to fulfill his engagement in the Enquirer Handicap. Tearout is the Latonia Derby winner of 1935. Edward "Junior" Heitz, 19-year-old Fort Thomas, Ky., lad, who is under contract to R. T. Davis, was granted a license to ride by the Latonia Jockey Club stewards. The five-day suspensions meted out to jockeys W. Hanka and A. Morgan for rough riding expired with Mondays racing, and both riders resumed riding Tuesday afternoon.
