f I PAY-OFF OF DEAD HEAT AT DETROIT j I In tha dead heat in the fourth race at Detroit Tuesday, June 9, wagers made J j away from the track the chart prices should prevail if track odds were offered I and accepted. Where house odds were accepted, the procedure should be as I follows: If was bet on each horse and even money laid on Sarahmond, the place j pay-off should be .00 to the player and .00 to the layer; if 2 to 1 was laid on I Lovely Spy, the place pay-off should be .50 to the player and .50 to the I layer. j The amount of money bet, plus the odds laid, with the total divided equally j between the player and layer, being the regular method of pay-off in dead heats I where bookmaking odds prevail. 1 V
